This post contains products that were sent to me for my consideration. Go here for my disclosure policy.

It’s been a while since I’ve done an Acne Busters post, but it’s been worth the wait. I’ve been testing out three skincare bits from Odylique, an organic beauty and skincare brand from the UK. I’m always excited to try new skincare, especially from a brand that loves and respects nature. The products are all handmade (I mean, wow!) and are cruelty-free. Talk about a brand that speaks right to my soul!

The range of products that Odylique offer are quite extensive so I really didn’t know where to start when it came to their skincare. They recommended three products to me after I told them what my skin was like: the Odylique Spot on Serum, Odylique Balancing Citrus Super Tonic and the Odylique Lemon and Tea Tree Purifying Wash.

If nothing else, you need to get your nose close to the Odylique Lemon and Tea Tree Purifying Wash. It is so fresh and zingy! Using it is such a joy because of the delightful lemon scent. It has a sturdy pump with an indentation on the top that fits the finger really easily, which, while a small detail, is really nice to use.

The Lemon and Tea Tree wash keeps my skin feeling clean without stripping it of moisture and the tea tree helps it to keep zits at bay. You can also use it to remove makeup, but I prefer using it as a second cleanse.

Odylique Balancing Citrus Super Tonic

I was the most wary about the Odylique Balancing Citrus Super Tonic. So many toners don’t do much, but this one is very refreshing and makes me skin feel clean like no other toners have. I don’t know what exactly it is about the Odylique super tonic, but it feels so wonderful on my skin. I do think this helps to balance my skin after washing it, but if nothing else it’s a wonderful treat. The scent is relaxing and peaceful with a mixture of rose, lemon, bergamot and orange. It’s wonderful to spritz on after a long day – it makes me feel refreshed yet relaxed. Not a combination I feel often!

Oh…do be careful though – this is a glass bottle, so if you’re a frequent traveller you’ll want to decant some. (But for me, it’s just perfect.)

Odylique Spot-On Serum

Easily my favourite of the bunch, the Odylique Spot-On Serum is a serious zit zapper. I use it as a spot treatment after cleansing and it doesn’t sting or dry the skin out around the zit like other treatments can. It’s so nice to have a gentle spot treatment that still works! The Spot-On Serum isn’t just for acne, though – it can be used for any skin ailment that needs a little TLC. Minor burns, scrapes, bites and stings can all be soothed with this little bottle of magic. I haven’t personally tried any of those yet, but I imagine it’ll get a lot of use once the mosquitos come out.
