January was all about skincare. I didn’t wear a whole lot of makeup which was surprisingly nice, though makes for a less exciting favourites post!
Schaf Skincare Eye Cream
I wrote about the Schaf Skincare eye cream a few weeks ago, but it’s remained a steady favourite since I started using it. It’s light weight yet very moisturizing to the under eye, while giving a slight brightening effect thanks to its yellow tone. A+
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask
I posted about the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask in December and I’ve hardly stopped wearing it since. My lips are so dry during the winter so it’s been really wonderful too have something that will replenish them. Plus the maple flavour just tastes so good!
Hylamide Low-Molecular HA Booster
My skin has been so dehydrated lately and for an oily skinned girl like me it’s taken a while to figure out what it needed. I wrote about the Hylamide HA Booster not long ago, but it’s been a skin saver. It’s a moisture-packed serum that has brought the life back into my skin. I always notice right away if I forget to add it into my moisturizer in the morning.
The Balm Frat Boy Blush
The little bit of makeup I have been including every day is The Balm’s Frat Boy Blush. I got this as part of the CBB secret santa swap from Trysh and I haven’t stopped using it since. It’s the perfect peachy pink flush for my skintone that doesn’t accentuate my acne scarring.
