Guest Post: Winter Whites with Caitlin and Riley

December 2, 2015

Hey everyone! I’m busy studying for final exams and finishing up projects for the next few weeks, but I’ve got some lovely bloggers from the CBB to keep the content rolling while I’m away. I’ll see you again in a few weeks once things have calmed down for me and I’m on Christmas break! In the mean time Caitlin and Riley have so graciously written a post for me! Enjoy! – Jodi

We’re Caitlin and Riley from Streets Ahead Style – two sisters from Toronto with an eye for all things colourful and quirky. Thank you Jodi for having us today!

With the winter months quickly approaching, we thought we would share our top nail polish picks for the perfect Winter White manicure.
Winter Whites with Caitlin and Riley
First up is Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Untrodden Snow which is a white jelly polish with a delicate blue shimmer. The polish really evokes the image of walking in the snow on a sunny January day when the ground almost sparkles with the frost.

Our second Winter White is Groom TBD from Lynnderella. This is just so elegant, so clean and fresh. I love how it looks on the nail even on our pale hands. The iridescent glitters really add a frosty feel to the polish.

Finally we have Fiendish Fancies The Heart of the Witch which is something different: a shimmery matte off-white. We are smitten with this Canadian indie nail polish brand and I think we will be wearing this Wintery White matte a lot in the coming months.
We’d also like to give an honourable mention to OPI Funny Bunny which is a staple in our rather large polish collection.
What’s your favorite Winter White polish? Do you ever wear white polish in the winter?

  1. Good luck on your exams! I used to wear red,and holiday color nail polishes in winter but never white. You just gave me an idea to get a white polish. Thanks hun!.

  2. I love white polishes for winter! I’m waiting to paint my nails in a similar shade to these for Christmas. Great post!
