Benefit Cosmetics Erase Paste in Fair Review & Swatches

September 7, 2016

It’s been a long road for me to find a product that will cut through the blue and purple darkness under my eyes. Regular concealer doesn’t do it, and even some peachy correctors aren’t quite enough. Add into the equation that I have fine lines and it’s a difficult equation to solve. I thought I’d try out Benefit’s much loved Erase Paste in Fair to see if it would do the job, and I think I’ve found a corrector I can get behind.

Erase Paste is a peachy under eye corrector with a enough moisture to it that it doesn’t make my under eyes look even more crepey than they are. Yet it also doesn’t slip around my face if I forget to set it before I leave the house – it’s the perfect middle ground. It’s also really easy to blend out, which I appreciate. I sometimes like to add a bit of a brightening concealer on top to really make myself look awake, but because it blends out so nicely, it’s not always necessary.

When I picked up the Fair shade I was uncertain if it would be peachy enough for my skin tone and I very nearly got the next shade up. I’m still curious because some darkness does peak out underneath the Erase Paste layer, but I’m also very content with the coverage for every day wear.

I’m so happy to have given into the hype around Benefit’s Erase Paste concealer. It’s a really great match for my light skin, even more so when I have a full face of makeup on. You can see Erase Paste with a full face in my Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream review.
Do you use any colour correction on your skin?

    1. Yeah it’s really great! The newer ones that have been coming out lately haven’t felt “peachy” enough for me – too light, y’know? This one isn’t like that at all. Let me know what you think if you check it out!
