Annabelle Cosmetics Autumn 2015 Launches: Eyeliners

This post contains products that were sent to me for my consideration. Go here for my disclosure policy.

How could Annabelle release their Smokey Nudes eyeshadow palette without including some new eyeliners too? Well, they couldn’t, of course and I’m hear to share my thoughts on some of their new releases today!

The big theme for the Annabelle Cosmetics Autumn 2015 launches (in the eyeliner category) is dual-purpose. All of their new eyeliners except for one are dual ended – either with two different types of liner or different colours. Either way I’m loving it.

Annabelle Cosmetics Instaglam Kajal Eyeliner

Annabelle Cosmetics Instaglam Kajal Eyeliner + Kajal ($12.95): This chunky liner is perfect for the smokey eye lover. One one end is a thick, blendable blackest black kajal liner that you can use on the waterline or the eyelid to smoke up the eye. It blends like a dream! The other end is a thick felt tip that draws a dark, matte line and can be used to draw thick or thin lines. It is a little bulky to hold because it’s so thick, so it does take some getting used to.

Annabelle Cosmetics Eyeink2 Eyeliner

Annabelle Cosmetics Eyeink² Liquid Eyeliner Duo ($10.95): This bad boy is a cat eye lover’s dream. Both ends are felt tip liners, though the ultra fine end is more pigmented than the fine end. This sucker comes in two colours: black (above) and brown.

Annabelle Cosmetics Eyeink2 Mistake Proof Eyeliner

Annabelle Cosmetics Eyeink² Mistake Proof Eyeliner + Corrector ($10.95): Available in black and brown (above), this liner is similar to it’s Eyeink² cousin, but instead of having an ultra fine and a fine tip, it’s got a fine tip and a corrector tip that allows you to fix up any bumps and lumps in your liner. This eyeliner is pigmented. It actually stains your eyelid a little bit – I have to really soak my eyemakeup off when I use this. But that means it doesn’t budge, so hey – I’ll take it. But my favourite bit? On both the Eyeink² Mistake Proof Eyeliner + Corrector and the Eyeink² Liquid Eyeliner Duo you can pull out the tips, meaning once they get frayed from too much use, you can flip them around and boom – good as new.

Annabelle Cosmetics Kohl Duo Eyeliner

Annabelle Cosmetics Kohl Duo Eyeliner ($7.95): Kohl eyeliner pencils aren’t really my favourite, but this new offering from Annabelle surprised me. It doesn’t scratch my eyes like so many and both the black and white are nice and pigmented. This little guy is available in three shades: Taupe (black and grey-toned brown), Brownie (black and warm-toned brown) and Tuxedo (black and white).

Annabelle Cosmetics Stay Sharp Metallic Eyeliner

Annabelle Cosmetics Stay Sharp Metallic Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner ($9.95): now this kohl liner I like! It’s super duper cream and self-sharpens, what else could a makeup lover want out of a kohl liner? I am super excited that Annabelle is adding to their Stay Sharp line – they already have lip liners and eyeliners and though I hadn’t tried them before…I’m definitely excited to try out more! My question is – where do the shavings go? I assume there’s some sort of sharpener in the lid but…I’m baffled. Is it magic? Annabelle are adding six more shades to their Stay Sharp line: Ocean (above, a teal blue), Bronzy (bronze), Enchanted (forest green), Amethyst (blue-toned purple), Black metal (black with minute silver glitter), and Snow White (matte white). I was trying to narrow my shopping list down for the Stay Sharp liners but you know what…I just need them all.

Annabelle Cosmetics Autumn 2015 Launches: Eyeliner Swatches

As you can see from the swatches above, the pigmentation in these eyeliners are (for the most part) stellar.

Will you be picking up any of Annabelle Cosmetics Autumn 2015 launches?

  1. THAT METALLIC LINER! <3<3 I photographed the palette and the brows stuff but haven't gotten to the liners since I just got back it's next, but I have a golden one that looks stunning but I might need to pick up more…

  2. Oh wow that’s a lot of new liners! I really like the teal one, but for some strange reason my eyes don’t get along with anything that’s labeled as “kohl!” It’s probably something I have to be able to swatch in person to make up my mind about. Most of the time I stick to gel.

    1. Kohl often smudges on me, but the stay sharp ones don’t which was a nice surprise! I understand about the swatching though – that’s the only way I find liners I like!

  3. The kohl duo in Tuxedo and the Instaglam kajal duo are the only ones that interest me in this lot–though I can imagine that the kajal might get a bit more difficult to use over time since there’s no sharpener? THE TUXEDO LINER IS A BRILLIANT IDEA THOUGH–would love to mess around with a white eyeliner!

    1. There are white ones in the twist up liner range too! I have been loving playing with the white liner it’s so fuuuuuun. I haven’t really used the kajal at all, though I could definitely image it becoming annoying towards the half point mark.
